deepest blue

Deep BlueHello, hello
To you
Deepest blue,
Hello to you.

   Hello, hello
   To you
   Deepest blue,
   May I swim into you?

Wrap me in your velvet embrace,
Take me down through frozen space,
Where all remains as it is now created and
Dissolve my soul into the mind of God.

   And who are you
   Deepest blue?
   Who are you
   Deepest blue?

Hello, hello
To you
Deepest blue,
Hello to you.

   Hello, hello
   To you
   Deepest blue,
   May I swim into you?

Wrap me in your velvet touch,
Carry my soul to where the angels brush
The pains away from these mortal bones and
Carry me softly to my eternal home.

   Yes, who are you
   Deepest blue?
   Who are you
   Deepest blue?

I keep staring at this ... and reading it over and over
What is stopping me from going into it?

Almost every day since the beginning of August, I've sank into the embracing arms of a miniature version of deep deep blue. And so I pretend I'm snorkeling in the ocean, swimming over reefs, avoiding sea urchins, watching schools of fish swim about and catching glimpses of sea turtles.
